Why prompts have value

Getting a specific image out of a model takes taste and iteration. That work is real. But the output is what gets shared, and the moment it does, the prompt behind it is copied or lost. The person who spent an hour refining it and the person who screenshots the result end up in the same place. NewEra gives that work a price.

How it works

1

Generate an image

The prompt that produced it is stored against your account.
2

List the prompt

Set any price. Listing costs no NEA and no gas.
3

A buyer unlocks it

They pay in NEA. The exact prompt text is revealed to them.
4

You keep 95 percent

Settled on-chain, in the same transaction as the purchase.

Terms

A prompt sells on exactly the same terms as an image. Nothing about it is a second-class listing.

Buying a prompt

You see the image, the title, and the price. You do not see the prompt until you buy it. After purchase, the full text is revealed to you and to nobody else through the platform. Use it, adapt it, generate from it.
A prompt is text. Once revealed, it can be reshared by the buyer. NewEra cannot prevent this, and neither can any platform. What NewEra provides is the market and the record of who sold it first.

What this changes

Prompt engineering has been unpaid labor since the day models became good. The skill is real, the demand is real, and there has never been a place to price it. This is that place.
NEA is a utility credit for using NewEra. It is not an investment, and it cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money outside the platform. The value of a prompt is whatever another creator will spend on it, which may be nothing.
